ToolTips
A ToolTip is a small pop-up window that displays the name of a Microsoft Windows Powered Pocket PC menu bar button. ToolTips help first-time users of an application to determine the function of an unfamiliar button. To access a ToolTip, tap and hold any button.
Appearance Attributes
The following illustration shows the appearance for a ToolTip on a Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC.
Label Attributes
Limit ToolTips to one or two words. Use title capitalization and no ending punctuation.
Development Considerations
Hardware navigation is a concern. Currently, the only way to see ToolTips is with the stylus.
