HR XHTML Element

The HR element draws a horizontal rule. This is a block element and does not require a closing tag.

Using this Element

This element can be used within a web page with attributes.

This element can be used within scripts where it will have properties, events and methods.

NOSHADE   Yes Yes Indicates that the horizontal rule is not drawn with 3 dimensional shading.

Yes Yes Specifies the height of the HR in pixels.

This attribute is equivalent to the CSS:

if ({size} == 1) border-bottom: none; else if ({size} > 2) height: {size} px;
STYLE   Yes Yes Provides the definition of the CSS styles used for this element.
Note   Supported only for devices running Windows Mobile 2003 software or later.
WIDTH Special Yes Yes Specifies the width of the HR in pixels or as a percentage width of its container.

This attribute is equivalent to the CSS:

width: {n};
