How to: Use Folder Sharing to Emulate a Storage Card
Emulators now support simulated storage cards by means of folder sharing. When a folder is shared to the emulator, it appears as a storage card and the emulator responds as if it were a real device. You can also stop folder sharing when you no longer want to work with an emulated storage card.
To activate folder sharing
- In the emulator, click the Emulator menu.
- Click Folder Sharing.
- Click Share this folder and provide a valid folder path in the text box. You can also click the ... button to make the Browse to Folder dialog box appear.
- Click OK.
To stop folder sharing
- In the emulator, click the Emulator menu.
- Click Folder Sharing.
- Click Do not share a folder.
