How to: Set Details on Link Connect Directives
Use the Link Connect Directive Details channel of the DSL Details window to configure custom code settings on source role directives and to configure target role directives on connection builders. The following procedure describes how to do this. Notice that the DSL Details window is used together with the Domain-Specific Language Designer and DSL Explorer.
To set details on link connect directives
In DSL Explorer, expand the Connection Builders node.
Expand the connection builder that contains the link connect directive on which you want to set details. For more information, see How to: Add a Link Connect Directive.
Under the connection builder, expand the Link Connect Directives node.
Click the link connect directive on which you want to set the details.
In the DSL Details window, the Link Connect Directive Details channel appears.
Note
If the DSL Details window is not displayed, click DSL Details on the Domain-Specific Language Designer toolbar.
In the Relationship list, click the relationship that you want to use.
Click the Source role directives tab.
In the Domain Class list, click the domain class for the source role.
(Optional) In the Path box, click to show a tree view of the domain class. For more information, see Domain Path Syntax Overview.
Select Custom accept to specify that custom code will be applied for the source-side UsesRoleSpecificCustomAccept code for the valid drop source and valid drop target.
Select Custom connect to specify that custom code will be applied for the source-side UsesRoleSpecificCustomConnect code.
As an option, you can select Uses custom connect to control global connection settings instead of selecting both Custom accept and Custom connect.
Note
You can delete a row by pressing DELETE. No shortcut menu is available.
Click the Target role directives tab, and then repeat steps 7-10 for the target role.
