Using Job Monitor
You can use Job Monitor to manage machine pools and the client computers that they contain and to view the status of jobs and tasks as they execute.
Figure 1 below shows the Job Monitor window after a sample job (test job) has finished executing.

The Job Monitor window includes the following information:
Machine Pool tab: A list of machine pools. You can use the machine pool list to create machine pools and move computers into machine pools. You can also give users permission to create jobs within machine pools.
Machines pane: A list of the computers that are contained in the machine pool. You can use the Machines pane to view the status of a computer, to modify a computer’s status, and to connect to the remote computer using Remote Desktop.
Job Execution Status pane: A list of the jobs that are executing or have completed on the selected computer. You can use the job list in the Job Execution Status pane to view the status of a job.
Note If you want to keep track of additional job parameters while monitoring a job, you can add more columns to the Job Execution Status pane by doing the following:To add more columns to the Job Execution Status pane
Right-click any of the columns in the pane, and then click Add/Remove Columns.
In the Available Fields list, click the job parameter you want to monitor, and click Add to transfer your selection to the Displayed Fields list.
Note You must repeat this step to add parameters that you want to monitor.
Click the Move Up or the Move Down button to change the order in which the selected parameters appear in the Job Execution Status pane.
Click OK.
On the File menu, click Save.
Type a name for your selected parameters, and then click Save.
Note After you exit from DTM Studio, restart it and open the Job Monitor window, the columns you added will not be displayed by default. To see the additional columns, you must click Open on the File menu, and open the file that you just saved.
Task Execution Status pane: A list of tasks that are included in the selected job. You can use the Task Execution Status pane task list to view the status of a task within a job.
