VendorMode Property of the IFPC2 Interface

The VendorMode property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the system policy configuration is in vendor mode.

Parameters

  • fVendorMode
    Boolean value that indicates whether the system policy configuration is in vendor mode.

  • pfVendorMode
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the system policy configuration is in vendor mode, or to VARIANT_FALSE if the system policy configuration is not in vendor mode.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Boolean value that indicates whether the system policy configuration is in vendor mode.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).

A vendor-defined system policy rule can be added using the AddVendorAccessSystemRule method of the FPCSystemPolicyRules collection (IFPCSystemPolicyRules interface in C++) or can be deleted using the RemoveVendorAccessSystemRule method of this collection (interface in C++) only when this property is set to True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++).
