Parameters

A RequestSecurityToken that contains the details of the request.
Return Value
The default implementation of this method is used.
A RequestSecurityTokenResponse that contains the details of the response to the request.
Exceptions
Exception type | Condition |

TrustFault | request is null. -or- request is not a request to renew a security token. |
Remarks
The default implementation of this method always throws a TrustFault exception.
The RenewSecurityTokenRequest method calls the VerifyRequestPolicy, RenewSecurityToken, EnforceResponsePolicy, and SetupIssuedToken methods.
