SecurityTokenService.VerifyRequestConfidentiality Method

Verifies that the request to the security token service has encrypted the appropriate elements.

Parameters

Exceptions

Exception type Condition
System.ArgumentNullException

request is null.

TrustFault

requestcontains a <Body> element that is not encrypted by the security token specified in the <ServerToken> element.

-or-

request contains an entropy value that is not encrypted by the security token specified in the <ServerToken> element.

Remarks

The default implementation of this method does not verify that any elements are encrypted.

The VerifyRequestPolicy calls the VerifyRequestConfidentiality method.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
