add Element for profiles for healthMonitoring (ASP.NET Settings Schema)

Adds a profile to the profile collection.

This element is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

name

Required String attribute.

Specifies the profile name.

minimumInstances

Required Int32 attribute.

Specifies the minimum number of occurrences before an event is fired.

The default is 1.

maximumLimit

Required Int32 attribute.

Specifies the threshold after which events stop being fired.

The default is "Infinite".

minimumInterval

Required TimeSpan attribute.

Specifies the minimum time interval between two events, expressed as "hh:mm:ss".

The default is "00:00:00".

Specifies the root element for the ASP.NET configuration section.

healthMonitoring

Configures an application for health monitoring.

profiles

Defines a collection of parameter sets that can be used when configuring events.

Remarks

The add element lets you collect sets of parameters that you use often when configuring events. Each set defines a profile.

Default Configuration

The following default add element is configured in the root Web.config file in the .NET Framework version 2.0.
