Sellable days by customer (form)

Click Accounts receivable > Common > Customers > All customers. Select the customer account. On the Action Pane, on the Sell tab, in the Set up group, click Setup and select Sellable days.

Use this form to set up, maintain, and view the number of days a customer identifies as its sellable period for specific items, item groups, and all items.

The sellable days are the minimum number of days a customer requires to be able to sell products before the products reach their expiration date or best before date. You specify which date to use in the Pick criteria field in the Item model groups form. The shelf life period in days and best before period in days are set up on the Manage inventory FastTab in the Released product details form. These periods are used to calculate the expiration and best before dates of the inventory batches for the product. The expiration and best before dates for an inventory batch can be changed using the Reset shelf life dates form that is available from the On-hand inventory list page or the Batches form.

Buttons

Button	Description
Inventory	Open the Dimensions display form to select the inventory dimensions to display in the Sellable days by customer form.

Fields

Field	Description
Customer account	The identification for the customer account.
Name	The name of the customer account.
Item code	View or select the item level at which the sellable days will apply for this customer. The options are as follows: Table ─ Sellable days apply to the specific item you select in the corresponding Item relation field. You can set up sellable days for multiple items for a customer. Group ─ Sellable days apply to the specific item group you select in the Item relation field. You can set up sellable days for multiple item groups for a customer. All ─ Sellable days apply to all items for this customer; therefore the Item relation field is not applicable for this item code. Note You can set up sellable days for a customer for more than one item code type. In other words, a customer can specify sellable days for items (Table), and also for item groups (Group). When Process manufacturing processes a sales order for a customer, it looks first for the specific item on the sellable days list. If the item is found, the sellable days value for the item is used regardless of whether sellable days also exist at the Group and All levels. If the item is not found at the item level, Process manufacturing looks next for the item group and uses the item group’s sellable days value. If both the item and the item group values are not found or do not exist, the value All used.
Item relation	View or select the specific item or item group based on the code you set in the Item code field. If you select All as the Item code, this field is not available.
Sellable days	View or enter the number of sellable days for the item.
