Set Up Speed Dialing on an AT&T Tilt
Applies to: Office 365 for enterprises, Microsoft Exchange
You can set up speed dialing on your AT&T Tilt, which lets you press and hold a key on your mobile phone keypad to dial a specific phone number. But before you can choose a speed dial key for dialing the Outlook Voice Access number, you need to create a contact on your phone. For more information about how to create a contact, see the "What else do I need to know" section below.
How do I set up speed dialing for voice mail?
- On the AT&T Tilt home screen, tap Start > Phone > Menu > Speed Dial.
- On the Phone screen, tap Menu > New, and then locate the number you want to use to dial voice mail.
- On the Speed Dial screen, in the Location box, select the number of the key you want to use to dial voice mail, and then click OK.
If you have problems setting up your phone, look in the user's manual that came with your mobile phone.
What else do I need to know?
- For details about how create a voice mail contact, see Create a Contact for Voice Mail.
- The 1 speed dial key is reserved for your mobile provider's voice mail system. You'll need to choose a different speed dial key for the voice mail contact you create. If you want to use the 1 speed dial key for your voice mail, you can change the mobile provider's voice mail number. For information about how to do this, see Change the Number You Call to Access Your Voice Mail on an AT&T Tilt.
