Create a Voice Mail Contact on a T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve

Applies to: Office 365 for enterprises, Microsoft Exchange

To make it easier to dial the access number for voice mail, you can create a contact and then assign a speed dial key to that contact. For more information about how to set up speed dialing, see the "What else do I need to know?" section below.

How do I create a contact for voice mail?

  1. On the BlackBerry Curve home screen, press Menu > Address Book.
  2. On the Address Book screen, press Menu > New Address.
  3. On the New Address screen, in the First box, use the keypad to enter the name you want to use for the contact, something like "Outlook Voice Access" or "Voice Mail".
  4. In the Work box, type the Outlook Voice Access number that's located in Voice Mail Account Information on the Voice Mail tab in Outlook Web App.
  5. Press Menu > Save.

If you have problems setting up your phone, look in the user's manual that came with your mobile phone.
