Create a Voice Mail Contact on a T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve
Applies to: Office 365 for enterprises, Microsoft Exchange
To make it easier to dial the access number for voice mail, you can create a contact and then assign a speed dial key to that contact. For more information about how to set up speed dialing, see the "What else do I need to know?" section below.
How do I create a contact for voice mail?
- On the BlackBerry Curve home screen, press Menu > Address Book.
- On the Address Book screen, press Menu > New Address.
- On the New Address screen, in the First box, use the keypad to enter the name you want to use for the contact, something like "Outlook Voice Access" or "Voice Mail".
- In the Work box, type the Outlook Voice Access number that's located in Voice Mail Account Information on the Voice Mail tab in Outlook Web App.
- Press Menu > Save.

- There are two types of contacts: contacts on your mobile phone and personal Contacts in Outlook Web App.
- You can create a personal Contact using Outlook Web App or Outlook and then set up your mobile phone to copy your contacts to your mobile phone using Exchange ActiveSync.
