Create a Voice Mail Contact on a Sprint Samsung ACE

To make it easier to dial the access number for voice mail, you can create a contact and then assign a speed dial key to that contact. For more information about how to set up speed dialing, see the "What else do I need to know?" section below.

How do I create a contact for voice mail?

  1. On the Samsung ACE home screen, press Contacts > New.
  2. On the Select a Type screen, select Outlook Contact > Select.
  3. On the Contact screen, in the First name box, use the keypad to enter the name you want to use for the contact, something like "Outlook Voice Access" or "Voice Mail".
  4. In the Work phone box, type the Outlook Voice Access number that's located in Voice Mail Account Information on the Voice Mail tab in Outlook Web App, and then press Done.

If you have problems setting up your phone, look in the user's manual that came with your mobile phone.

  • There are two types of contacts: contacts on your mobile phone and personal Contacts in Outlook Web App.
  • You can create a personal Contact using Outlook Web App or Outlook and then set up your mobile phone to copy your contacts to your mobile phone using Exchange ActiveSync.
