Set Up Speed Dialing on an AT&T Motorola RAZR

Applies to: Office 365 for enterprises, Microsoft Exchange

You can set up speed dialing on your Motorola RAZR, which lets you press and hold a key on your mobile phone keypad to dial a specific phone number. But before you can choose a speed dial key for dialing the Outlook Voice Access number, you need to create a contact on your phone. For more information about how to create a contact, see the "What else do I need to know" section below.

How do I set up speed dialing for voice mail?

  1. On the Motorola RAZR home screen, press Main Menu > Settings > Call Settings > Speed Dial, and then move to the number you want to use to dial voice mail.
  2. On the Speed Dial screen, select the speed dial number you want to use.
  3. On the Speed Dial Numbers menu, select Assign Contact.
  4. In the list on the Contacts screen, select the contact you created for voice mail.

If you have problems setting up your phone, look in the user's manual that came with your mobile phone.

What else do I need to know?

  • For details about how to create a voice mail contact, see Create a Contact for Voice Mail.
  • The 1 speed dial key is reserved for your mobile provider's voice mail system. You'll need to choose a different speed dial key for the voice mail contact you create.
