Set Up Speed Dialing on a T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve

You can set up speed dialing on your BlackBerry Curve, which lets you press and hold a key on your mobile phone keypad to dial a specific phone number. But before you can choose a speed dial key for dialing the Outlook Voice Access number, you need to create a contact on your phone. For more information about how to create a contact, see the "What else do I need to know" section below.

How do I set up speed dialing for voice mail?

  1. On the BlackBerry Curve home screen, press Send > Menu > View Speed Dial List, and then move to the letter you want to assign as a contact to use to dial voice mail.
  2. Press Menu > New Speed Dial.
  3. On the Select Address screen, locate the letter that you want to use to dial voice mail, and then press the Trackball.

  • The W speed dial key is reserved for your mobile provider's voice mail system. You'll need to choose a different speed dial key for the voice mail contact you create.
