Turn On or Off Missed Call Notifications

Applies to: Office 365 for enterprises, Microsoft Exchange

You can choose to receive a missed call notification in an e-mail message delivered to your Inbox when a caller doesn't leave you a voice mail message. This notification message is different from the e-mail message that contains a voice message left by a caller.

There are two types of missed call notifications: e-mail and text message. For more information about text message missed call notifications, see "What else do I need to know" later in this topic.

How do I turn on or off missed call notifications?

  1. In Outlook Web App, click Options > Phone > Voice Mail tab.
  2. Under Notifications, select the Send an e-mail to my Inbox when I miss a phone call check box to turn on missed call notifications. Clear the check box if you don't want to receive missed call notifications in your Inbox.
  3. On the Voice Mail tab, click Save.

What else do I need to know?

  • If you've set up text message notifications for voice mail, you can receive a missed call notification in a text message that's sent to your mobile phone.
