FPCOutboundHTTPSInspectionConfiguration Object

The FPCOutboundHTTPSInspectionConfiguration object represents the configuration settings for outbound HTTPS inspection.

This object is accessed through the OutboundHTTPSInspectionConfiguration property of the FPCWebProxy object.

Inheritance

This object inherits from the FPCPersist object, which contains methods and properties related to the persistent storage of an object's data. They include methods for exporting the object's data to and importing it from an XML document.

The FPCOutboundHTTPSInspectionConfiguration object defines the following methods.

CreateNewRootCACertificate

Creates a new self-signed root certification authority certificate that will be used for re-signing certificates by Forefront TMG.

DeployCertificateInActiveDirectory

Installs the root certification authority certificate on client computers in the local domain.

ExportRootCACertificateFile

Exports the root certification authority certificate currently used by Forefront TMG to a file.

ImportRootCACertificate

Imports the root certification authority certificate specified by the user for use by Forefront TMG.

RootCACertificateExists

Returns a Boolean value that indicates whether a root certification authority certificate exists.

The FPCOutboundHTTPSInspectionConfiguration object defines the following properties.

BlockExpiredServerCertificate

Gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether an expired server certificate will be blocked.

BlockNotYetValidServerCertificate

Gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether a server certificate that is not yet valid will be blocked.

CACertificate

Gets an FPCCACertificate object that holds the root certification authority certificate for HTTPS inspection.

CertificateSigningAlgorithm

Gets or sets the object identifier (OID) of the algorithm to be used for signing certificates.

CheckServerCertificateRevocation

Gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether server certificate revocation will be checked.

DaysToBlockExpiredServerCertificate

Gets or sets the number of days during which an expired certificate will be blocked.

DomainNameSetsExceptionList

Gets an FPCRefs collection that contains references to the FPCDomainNameSet collections defining the domain name sets that are included in the exception list.

Enabled

Gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether outbound HTTPS inspection is enabled.

InspectionWithCertificateValidation

Gets or sets a value from the FpcHttpsInspectionWithCertificateValidationType enumerated type that specifies whether there will be certificate validation with HTTPS inspection or just certificate validation when HTTPS inspection is enabled.

KeySize

Gets or sets a value from the FpcKeySizeType enumerated type that specifies the size of the public and private keys for locally generated certificates.

NotifyUsers

Gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether users will be notified that HTTPS inspection is performed.

SkipCertificateValidationForExcludedSources

Gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether certificate validation will be skipped for traffic initiated from excluded sources. (This property is introduced in Forefront TMG 2010 SP 1.)

SourcesExceptionList

Gets an FPCSources object that contains the list of sources that are included in the exception list.

UrlCategoriesExceptionList

Gets an FPCRefs collection that contains references to the FPCUrlCategory objects defining the URL categories that are included in the exception list.

UrlCategorySetsExceptionList

Gets an FPCRefs collection that contains references to FPCUrlCategorySet objects defining the URL category sets that are included in the exception list.

CancelWaitForChanges Cancels the registration established by the WaitForChanges method (for use in C and C++ programming only).
CanImport Returns a Boolean value that indicates whether the object's properties can be imported from the specified XML document.
Export Writes the stored values of all of the object's properties to the specified XML document.
ExportToFile Writes the stored values of all of the object's properties to the specified XML file.
GetServiceRestartMask Retrieves a 32-bit bitmask of the FpcServices enumerated type that specifies which services need to be restarted for currently unsaved changes to take effect.
Import Copies the values of all of the object's properties from the specified XML document to persistent storage.
