FPCUrlCategory Object
The FPCUrlCategory object represents a category to which URLs are assigned.
Forefront TMG queries the Microsoft Reputation Service (MRS) to obtain a URL category for every URL to which client requests are directed and caches the results returned.
URL categories are referenced in the properties of several objects.
- The URL categories to which an access rule applies are specified by including references to the applicable FPCUrlCategory objects in the FPCRefs collection held in the UrlCategories property of the FPCAccessProperties object.
- The URL categories that are included in a list of HTTP request destinations are specified by including references to the applicable FPCUrlCategory objects in the FPCRefs collection held in the UrlCategories property of the FPCDestinations object.
- The URL categories that are included in an exception list for outbound HTTPS inspection are specified by including references to the applicable FPCUrlCategory objects in the FPCRefs collection held in the UrlCategoriesExceptionList property of the FPCOutboundHTTPSInspectionConfiguration object.
- The URL categories that are included in or excluded from a URL category set are specified by including references to the applicable FPCUrlCategory objects in the FPCRefs collection held in the UrlCategories property of the FPCUrlCategorySet object.
- The overriding URL category to which a URL is mapped is specified by defining a reference to the applicable FPCUrlCategory object in the FPCRef object held in the UrlCategory property of the FPCUrlToCategoryMapping object.
The FPCUrlCategory object is an element of the FPCUrlCategories collection.
