InstallRootCACertificate Method of the IFPC3 Interface

The InstallRootCACertificate method installs the root certification authority certificate.

Syntax

HRESULT InstallRootCACertificate(
  [in]  BSTR RootCACertificatePath
);

Parameters

  • RootCACertificatePath
    Required. BSTR that specifies the path in which the root certification authority certificate will be installed.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Parameters

  • RootCACertificatePath
    Required. String that specifies the path in which the root certification authority certificate will be installed.

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

Use this method to install the root CA certificate of the CA that issued the server certificate installed on the array manager by the InstallManagementServerCertificate method.

This method is available only in Forefront TMG Enterprise Edition.
