The Job Status page shows the status of all jobs submitted for your account. The following types of jobs are listed:

  • Data upload —Location or polygon data source files that you upload to MapPoint Web Service can be accessed through the MapPoint API within 24 hours. There are two types of data upload jobs—jobs in which a new data source is created and jobs in which an existing data source is replaced.

  • Data copy —You can copy location and polygon data source files between the MapPoint staging and production environments. Data sources that you copy from one environment to the other can be accessed through the MapPoint API within 24 hours.

  • Data download —You can create a downloadable location data source file. When the job is completed successfully, the status column includes a link to the file, which you can click to start the actual download process. Downloadable files remain available for 14 days after the download job is complete.

  • Icon upload —Custom icons that you upload to MapPoint can be accessed through the MapPoint API within 24 hours.
