Summary

In this exercise you learned how to automate your business processes using the workflow offerings in SharePoint 2010. First, Visio 2010 was used to define the rough outline for a business process which was exported to SharePoint Designer 2010 for completion. The action based interface of SharePoint Designer 2010 allowed for simple creation of a process that could be completed by a IT Professional. Once the first process was in place, a more complex process which included custom code was created using Visual Studio 2010 and the SharePoint workflow tools.
