Summary

In this exercise you learned how to expose external data from databases and flat files using BCS. You first exposed data in a database using the SharePoint Designer and later exposed flat file data using Visual Studio 2010. When all the data was exposed you then accessed it through the BCS object model allowing offline access to the external data.
