IWMSPublishingPointLimits::put_PerOutgoingDistributionConnectionBandwidth

The put_PerOutgoingDistributionConnectionBandwidth method specifies the maximum bandwidth, in Kbps, permitted for a distribution connection on the publishing point.

Syntax

  HRESULT put_PerOutgoingDistributionConnectionBandwidth(
  long  newVal
);

Parameters

newVal

[in] long containing the maximum permitted distribution bandwidth, in Kbps.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Return code Number Description
E_INVALIDARG 0x80070057 Indicates that newVal is an invalid argument.

Remarks

By default, the parameter is –1, indicating that there is no limit on the maximum bandwidth permitted.
