IXMLParser::ExpandEntity

This method expands an entity reference. For example, when a parameter entity is used in a document type definition (DTD), this method can be called to provide the entity replacement text that the parser should insert into the input stream before continuing to parse.

Syntax

HRESULT ExpandEntity( 
  const WCHAR * pwcText,
ULONG ulLen);

Parameters

  • pwcText
    [in] The entity replacement text to be inserted into the input stream.
  • ulLen
    [in] Specifies the length of the replacement text.

Return Values

This function returns S_OK if the function is successful, otherwise an error code is returned (E_FAIL).

Pocket PC: Pocket PC 2000 and later

OS Versions: Windows CE 3.0 and later
