February 2006 Documentation Update

The following table shows the new topics in the February documentation release for the Windows Mobile Version 5.0 Software Development Kit (SDK). Please provide feedback by using the Send Feedback link included in the topics.

Topic Description
Automation Functions Added documentation links for the following functions:
Certificates Functions Added a table listing the supported functions for certificate management.
Command Bars Functions Added documentation on CommandBar_AlignAdornments function.
Common Dialog Boxes Functions Removed documentation on unsupported Common Dialogs and related structures:
  • CHOOSECOLOR
  • PAGESETUPDLG
  • PRINTDLG
  • DEVNAMES
  • PrintDlg
  • ChooseColor
  • CCHookProc
  • PagePaintHook
  • PageSetupDlg
Cryptography Functions Updated the table to add CryptFindLocalizedName function.
Direct3D Mobile Extensions Reference Added a new reference documentation section for the Microsoft® Direct3D® Mobile extensions (D3DX) utility library.
DMO Functions Added documentation links for the following functions:
GDI Functions Added documentation on additional GDI functions:
MAPI Functions Added documentation on the HrGetOneProp and HrSetOneProp functions, which set/return the value of a single property on an object that support properties, such as an e-mail attachment, a MAPI container, a MAPI folder, a message, or a message store.
Pocket Outlook Object Model API Functions Added documentation on the GetItemIndexFromOid function, which returns the index of the item in the collection for the given OID.
Time Functions Added documentation on GetCurrentFT function.
User Interface Control Guidelines Updated with new UI controls and descriptions. See the links for each UI control for updated information on the control.
Vibrate Reference Added NOTE indicating that this functionality is not supported by Pocket PC. Related notes and changes in the following topics:
