The ESB Guidance contains several sample applications. All the samples install into the BizTalk Application named GlobalBank.ESB. With the exception of the Exception Management samples, all samples require installation of the Microsoft ESB Guidance core solution.

If you installed the Microsoft ESB Guidance core from the Windows Installer file named Microsoft.Practices.ESB.Core.msi, you must install the Business Rules Engine policies and vocabularies that specifically refer to the Microsoft ESB Guidance core signed assemblies into the GlobalBank.ESB application. For more details, see Install the Sample Business Rules Engine Policies and Vocabularies

After you install the Business Rules Engine policies and vocabularies, or if you are not using the signed release version of the Microsoft ESB Guidance core Windows Installer, continue by installing the sample applications. For details of how to install these samples, see Microsoft ESB Guidance Sample Applications.

Then continue to the next task: Start the Microsoft BizTalk ESB Guidance Application.
