The Recipe Framework is a Visual Studio package that extends the functionality of Visual Studio. With it, developers can manage guidance packages, unfold Visual Studio templates, and execute recipes from within Visual Studio. The Recipe Framework consists of a number of software components included with the Guidance Automation Toolkit.
The Recipe Framework:
- Executes recipes and unfolds Visual Studio templates with associated recipes.
- Activates recipe references.
- Creates commands for recipes and then associates them with the Visual Studio command bar specified in the recipe definition.
- Lets you enable and disable guidance packages.
