Re-evaluate Monitors
Use this procedure to get the most recent monitoring information for a specific monitor.
Note Updating monitor information is different than re-evaluating monitor information. Updating monitors refreshes the Monitors view. Use Check Now to cause Health Monitor to recollect the monitoring data and recalculate thresholds. Depending on the data collector, this might take a moment as the data is recollected.
To re-evaluate a specific monitor
In the Application Center snap-in, expand the cluster member node, and then click Monitors.
In the Monitors view, click the monitor, and then click Check Now.
Note It might take several seconds for the task to complete and for the new values to appear.
To update the Monitors view
In the Application Center snap-in, expand the cluster member node, and then click Monitors.
In the Monitors view, click Refresh or press F5.
Note The monitoring information displayed in the Monitors view might not reflect the latest data. By updating the data, you will receive the most recent information about that specific monitor.
