How to: Delete Completed Builds (Team System Web Access)

You can use Team System Web Access to delete completed builds and files or logs that were created in the build drop location when the build was run.

Required Permissions

To complete this task, you must have the Administer a build permission set to Allow. If the build that is deleted has test results associated with it, you must have the Publish test results permission set to Allow. Also, the application-tier service account and the Team Foundation Build service account must have read/write permissions to the build drop location. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.

To delete a completed build

  1. In Team System Web Access, click the Build page.

  2. Click the Completed Builds tab to display a list of the completed builds.

You can use filters to display the completed builds by build definition name, build quality, or the date range on which the builds were completed.

  3. Point to the completed build that you want to delete, click the arrow, and then click Delete on the menu.

  4. Click OK to confirm that the report is to be deleted. To close the message without deleting the build, click Cancel.
