How to: View State Diagrams for Work Item Types (Team System Web Access)
You can use Team System Web Access to display diagrams for work item types. These diagrams depict the typical steps through which a work item progresses during its life cycle.
Required Permissions
To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Readers group or have the View work items in this node permission set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To view state diagrams for different work item types
Display a query results list. For more information, see How to: View and Sort Work Item Query Results Lists (Team System Web Access).
In the query results list, point to a work item type for which you want to view a state diagram, click the arrow, and then click State Diagram.
Note
You can view different state diagrams for different work item types. You can also view state diagrams when you create or modify a work item.
