How to: Create or Remove Build Qualities (Team System Web Access)
You can use Team System Web Access to specify a build quality that assesses the usefulness of a build. Team System Web Access includes a set of pre-defined build qualities or you can create one. For information about how to apply a build quality to a build, see How to: Set Build Quality (Team System Web Access).
Required Permissions
To perform this procedure, you must have the Team Foundation Server Edit build quality permission set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To create a build quality
In Team System Web Access, click the Build page.
On the Build page, click Manage Build Qualities on the toolbar.
In Manage Build Qualities dialog box, in the box that is directly under the list of pre-defined build qualities, type a name for the new build quality.
Click Add to add the name to the list.
To add more than one build quality, click New to enable the Add button for each consecutive build quality that you are adding.
Note
If you click Cancel, the Add button becomes inactive, and you must click New before you can type a quality name.
When you have finished adding build qualities, click Close.
The new build qualities appear in the list in the Edit Build Quality dialog box that you can access from the Completed Builds tab on the Build page.
To remove a build quality
In Team System Web Access, click the Build page.
On the Build page, click Manage Build Qualities on the toolbar.
In the Manage Build Qualities dialog box, select the build quality that you want to remove, and then click Cancel.
After you click Cancel, the Remove button becomes active.
Click Remove to remove the build quality from the list.
If you want to remove additional qualities, select them one at a time in the list, and then click Remove.
When you have finished removing build qualities, click Close.
