Upgrading SharePoint Products for Team Foundation Server
Before you upgrade to Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010, you must upgrade Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 to either Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. If you are already running Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, you can upgrade it to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 if you want its reporting and dashboard features. Note
If you upgraded from Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or SharePoint Server 2010, you must also configure any existing team project portals with a SharePoint Feature. Otherwise, they will not display the reports and dashboards that are available in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. If you performed a gradual upgrade or deployed a server farm, use the administration console for Team Foundation to associate the new server or server farm with this deployment or to modify the settings.
