XmlModel.Dispose Method
Releases all resources used by the current instance of the XmlModel class.
Namespace: Microsoft.VisualStudio.XmlEditor
Assembly: Microsoft.VisualStudio.XmlEditor (in Microsoft.VisualStudio.XmlEditor.dll)
Usage
'Usage
Dim instance As XmlModel
instance.Dispose
Syntax
'Declaration
Public MustOverride Sub Dispose
public abstract void Dispose ()
public:
virtual void Dispose () abstract
public abstract void Dispose ()
public abstract function Dispose ()
Remarks
Call Dispose when you are finished using the XmlModel. The Dispose method leaves the XmlModel in an unusable state. After calling Dispose, you must release all references to the XmlModel so the garbage collector can reclaim the memory that the XmlModel was occupying.
For more information, see Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources and Implementing a Dispose Method.
Note
Always call Dispose before you release your last reference to the XmlModel. Otherwise, the resources it is using will not be freed until the garbage collector calls the XmlModel object's Finalize method.
Thread Safety
Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
