SmartCardRW.DataEventEnabled Property

2/27/2008

Indicates whether a DataEvent event is delivered when input data is queued.

Namespace: Microsoft.PointOfService
Assembly: Microsoft.PointOfService (in microsoft.pointofservice.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public MustOverride Property DataEventEnabled As Boolean
public abstract bool DataEventEnabled { get; set; }
public:
virtual property bool DataEventEnabled {
    bool get () abstract;
    void set (bool value) abstract;
}
/** @property */
public abstract boolean get_DataEventEnabled ()

/** @property */
public abstract void set_DataEventEnabled (boolean value)
public abstract function get DataEventEnabled () : boolean

public abstract function set DataEventEnabled (value : boolean)

Remarks

If true, a DataEvent is delivered as soon as input data is queued. If changed to true and some input data is already queued, then a DataEvent event is delivered immediately. (Note that other conditions may delay "immediate" delivery: if FreezeEvents is true or another event is already being processed at the application, the DataEvent remains queued until the condition is corrected.)

If false, input data is queued for later delivery to the application. Also, if an input error occurs, the ErrorEvent is not delivered while this property is false.
