Editing a Component Filter

You can modify the rules of an existing component filter.

To edit a component filter

1. In Windows XP Embedded Target Designer, from the Tools menu, choose Filter Manager.

2. Select the filter that you want to edit and choose Modify.

3. In the Filter Editor dialog box, add, delete, or modify the rules as needed and choose OK.

4. To immediately apply the filter to the component browser, choose Apply Filter.

   - or -

   To close the Filter Manager dialog box without using the filter at this time, choose Close.
