You can bulk-upgrade all of the components in a configuration to their latest revisions or versions in the component database. Components for which a later revision or version is found are marked with an upgradeable icon in the configuration editor in Windows XP Embedded Target Designer.
Note After a component in a configuration is upgraded, previous run-time image builds of this configuration may be not repeatable.
To upgrade all components in a configuration
From the Configuration menu, choose Upgrade Configuration.
To upgrade the configuration, choose Yes.

To close the message box without upgrading the configuration, choose No or Cancel.
