The list of components displayed in the component browser in Windows XP Embedded Target Designer is determined by the component filter that is applied to the browser. The default filter is All Components. When this filter is used, the component browser displays all of the components in the database. When a more restrictive filter is used, the component browser displays a smaller list of components.
To filter the components displayed in the component browser
In the Filter list in the component browser, choose a component filter.
The first filter in the list is All Components. That is followed by the rest of the filters in alphabetical order. After you choose a filter, the component browser displays a list of components that meet the criteria that are specified in the filter. The number of components in the component browser is displayed directly above the list. This number is updated to reflect the new contents of the browser.
