The Boolean value of true indicates that the ItemDispenser is an exclusive-use device. Otherwise, the value is false.

An exclusive-use device has the following properties:

The application must claim the device before the application enables it.
The application must claim and enable the device before accessing some properties or calling methods that update the device.
