The following table shows the Application Programming Interfaces for the PhCommon Settings functionality.

Programming element	Description
PHGetSetting	This interface retrieves the current value for a specified setting from the Registry.
PHSetValue	This interface sets a new value into a setting in the Registry.
PHGetVolumeSetting	This interface retrieves the current value for a specified volume setting.
PHSetVolume	This interface sets a new value for a specified volume setting.
PHGetActiveVolume	This interface retrieves the current active volume mode.
PHSetActiveVolume	This interface sets the active volume mode.
