SkipAutoActivation (Standard 8 Module Reference)

7/8/2014

Review the applicable Embedded Core modules and any examples for the SkipAutoActivation setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether to disable attempts to automatically activate Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

Set to true to disable automatic activation; otherwise, set to false. The default value is false.

For automatic activation to complete, a valid product key is required.

After Standard 8 is activated, you no longer need this setting. Do not use this setting on a system that has already been activated with a non-system locked pre-installation (SLP) license key.
