Review the applicable Embedded Core modules and any examples for the CustomDefaultThemeFile setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting is not supported; do not use.

Although you can still add themes by using a .theme file, you can no longer use a .theme file as a default theme. To define the default theme in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8), use the following settings instead: BrandIcon, DesktopBackground, ScreenSaver, ThemeName, and WindowColor.
