Clears all device input that has been buffered.

Remarks

Any data events or input error events that were queued by the service object– usually waiting for DataEventEnabled to be set to true and FreezeEvents to be set to false – are also cleared.

ClearInput may cause a PosControlException to be thrown with the following ErrorCode:

Claimed

The device is claimed by another application.

NotClaimed

The device must be claimed before ClearInput can be used.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
