RemoteOrderDisplay.ClearInput Method

Clears the device input that has been buffered for the unit specified by the CurrentUnitId property.

Remarks

Any data events that are queued, usually waiting for DataEventEnabled to be set to true and FreezeEvents to be set to false, are also cleared.

ClearInput may cause a PosControlException exception to be thrown with the following ErrorCode:

The device is claimed by another process.

NotClaimed

The device must be claimed before ClearInput can be used.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
