PosPrinter.CapConcurrentRecSlp Property
2/27/2008
Gets a Boolean value that indicates whether the receipt and slip stations can print at the same time.
Namespace: Microsoft.PointOfService
Assembly: Microsoft.PointOfService (in microsoft.pointofservice.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public MustOverride ReadOnly Property CapConcurrentRecSlp As Boolean
public abstract bool CapConcurrentRecSlp { get; }
public:
virtual property bool CapConcurrentRecSlp {
bool get () abstract;
}
/** @property */
public abstract boolean get_CapConcurrentRecSlp ()
public abstract function get CapConcurrentRecSlp () : boolean
Remarks
If true, the receipt and slip stations can print at the same time.
The PrintTwoNormal method can be used with the PrinterStation.TwoSlipReceipt printer station value. Printer station values are defined in the PrinterStation enumeration.
If false, the application must use the sequence BeginInsertion/EndInsertion followed by print requests to the slip followed by BeginRemoval/EndRemoval before printing on the receipt. Nonconcurrent printing may be required for reasons such as the following:
Physical constraints, such as the slip form being put in front of the receipt station.
Higher likelihood of error, such as greater chance of paper jams when moving between the stations.
Higher performance when each station is printed separately.
The service object should set CapConcurrentRecSlp based on the capabilities of the device.
