Open the Telephony Snap-in

Applies To: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012

To manage a telephony server, use the Telephony snap-in.

Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure.

To open the Telephony snap-in

  1. Click Start, then click Run, and then enter the command mmc tapimgmt.msc.

  2. If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.

  3. If the telephony server you want to manage is not listed, you can connect to it by following the procedure Add or Remove a Server from the Telephony Snap-in.
