Azure Synapse Pathway download

This article contains directions to download Azure Synapse Pathway.

Caution

Azure Synapse Pathway is no longer supported or maintained. For migration, consider the Fabric Migration Assistant for Data Warehouse.

Prerequisites

Azure Synapse Pathway requires .NET Core Desktop Runtime 5.0.8 or later.

Download

Download the latest version of Azure Synapse Pathway from the Microsoft Download Center, and then run the AzureSynapsePathway.msi file.

Install

1. Once you've saved the AzureSynapsePathway.msi file, select the file to bring up the Azure Synapse Pathway Setup wizard to begin installation.
2. When you select Next, it will take you to the End-User license agreement.
3. Once you accept the agreement and select Next, you will see the Microsoft privacy statement.
4. Select Install to begin the installation process.
5. The installation process will take a few seconds. Select Finish to complete the installation.
6. You should see the Azure Synapse Pathway home screen.

1. Synapse Pathway is free to download. There's no associated cost to run your code translation.
2. Data Ingress: There's no cost associated with bringing your data into Azure. For more information, see the Bandwidth pricing details.
