Exercise - Create a flex credit program
You can use flex credit programs in Dynamics 365 Human Resources to enroll employees in benefits according to a predetermined number of flex credits. Employees can choose how to allocate their flex credits. For example, if an employee is covered under their spouse's health insurance plan, they might want to use the credits that they would have otherwise used on health coverage toward other benefits.
In this exercise, you'll create a flex credit program for a fitness benefit that is offered to employees.
Create a flex credit program
To create a flex credit program, follow these steps:
Go to Benefits management > Plans > Flex credit programs.
Select New.
In Benefit credit, enter Fitness benefit.
In Description, enter Fitness benefit flex credit.
In the From date field, enter 01/01/2021.
In the To date field, keep the date 12/31/2154. Using this date indicates that your flex credit program doesn't expire.
In the Benefit Period Selection section, select New.
Under Period, select 2021.
Under Total credit value, enter 200.00.
Under Prorate Rule, select None.
Select Save.
