After you have configured Teams Phone services for your organization, you'll need to configure PSTN connectivity for users so that they can make and receive calls. The method to enable voice for users depends on whether you'll use Calling Plans, Teams Phone mobile, Operator Connect or Direct Routing for the users

  • Enable users for Teams Phone using Calling Plans, and Teams Phone Mobile or Operator Connect if it’s configured for your tenant.

  • Enable users for Direct Routing

  • Manage per-user options for Teams Phone

Prerequisites

  • Knowledge of how to configure Teams Phone tenant settings for your organization, either using Calling Plans, Operator Connect, Teams Phone Mobile, or Direct Routing.

  • Understanding of the requirements for voice users, including dial plans, voice routing and numbering.
