By the end of this module, you'll be able to:

  • Containerize a Java app.
  • Build a container image for the Java app.

Prerequisites

  • An Azure subscription with permission to create, update, and delete the exercise resources, plus permission to assign the AKS kubelet's pull role at the container registry scope.
  • A local Bash environment with Git and the latest supported Azure CLI installed and available.
  • Docker Desktop configured to run Linux containers, or Docker Engine on Linux, with the Docker CLI able to reach the running daemon from that Bash environment.
