Update a stockkeeping unit
After stockkeeping units have been created, each one will carry the same information. However, the main reason for using stockkeeping units is to configure an item differently for each location or variant.
For example, the replenishment system for item 1908-S should be Purchase for the MAIN location but Transfer for location EAST. This setup assumes that your company orders the item to the MAIN location, and then transfers items to other locations as they are needed.
It's important to update stockkeeping units after creating them.
